Melissa (Reeves) Coursey

Melissa Coursey, age 66 passed away on December 28, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice. She was born on November 21, 1956 in Augusta to Harold "Goat" and Bobbie Sikes Reeves. She spent most of her life in Augusta and then moving to Glenville 10 years ago. Melissa attended First Baptist Church in Glennville. She enjoyed bowling, helping others and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her son, Brandon Coursey (Kimberly Reese) of  Florida; her mother, Bobbie Reeves of Glennville; brother, Hal (Myrna) Reeves of Augusta; nephew, Brett Reeves of Augusta; granddaughters, Madisyn Coursey, Madelyn Coursey and Catelyn Coursey all of Florida.

In keeping with Ms. Melissa's wishes, no services will be held.
