Odas Franklin Meadows, Jr.

Odas Franklin Meadows, Jr., age 71, passed away peacefully on May 21, 2026, at Pruitt Health Swainsboro in Georgia. A native of Warren, Ohio, he was born on September 4, 1954, to Odas Franklin Meadows, Sr. and Florence Sole.

Odas was a man who found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. He enjoyed camping and spending time around the campfire with friends and family. When he wasn't picking his guitar strings, you could find him with a fishing pole in hand, casting out lines at Mahoning River or Mosquito Lake. He showed gentle strength and enduring kindness, his every moment was lived with passion for the family, friends, and natural world he adored. 

He is survived by his loving daughters, Jessica Meadows of Statesboro and Brittany Meadows of Claxton; grandchildren, Tacie, Emma, Zane, Dean, Jehonathan, Cristian, Jacob, and Lily; as well as two brothers.
