Opal Conrad, age 98, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family and friends.
Born on March 20, 1928, in Lafayette, Tennessee, Opal lived a long and meaningful life marked by kindness, resilience, and devotion to those she loved. She touched countless lives through her warm spirit, generous heart, and unwavering faith.
A devoted member of Dublin First Church of the Nazarene, Opal never once lost her faith in and love for Jesus Christ. Her family finds comfort in knowing that she is now rejoicing in Heaven and reunited with her Savior.
Opal was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She cherished time spent with family, enjoyed sharing stories of years gone by, and found joy in life’s simple pleasures. Her wisdom, strength, and gentle nature will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ross Conrad; her daughter, Lori Larson; and her sons, Rick Conrad and David Conrad.
Opal is survived by her children, Debbie Watson, Brenda Conrad (Larry Parrish), and Robert Conrad and Phyllis Conrad; her grandchildren, Diane Windham (Rick Lovett), Ashlynn Lake (Adam Lake), Brittney Lennon (K.C. Lennon), Ciji Parrish, and Rodney Larson (Tera Larson) Steven Conrad (Tammy Conrad) Racheal Conrad and Johanna Conrad; along with many cherished great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who will continue to honor her memory and carry forward her legacy of love and faith.
The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers, friends, and loved ones who provided support, comfort, and companionship throughout Opal’s life.
A celebration of Opal’s life will be held on June 5, 2026, at Dublin First Church of the Nazarene from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to attend, share memories, and celebrate the life of a woman whose presence was a blessing to so many.
Though she will be deeply missed, Opal’s legacy of love, compassion, strength, and faith will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
