Patricia Ann Clark

December 8, 1955 — October 26, 2023

Lyons

Patricia Clark, born on December 8, 1955, in Toombs County, Georgia, to Cecil and Sarah (Ricketson) Miller, peacefully passed away on October 26, 2023, at Oxley Park Health and Rehabilitation in Lyons. She was surrounded by her loving husband of 34 years, Billy Clark, after a valiant and courageous battle with Leukemia.

Patricia's roots ran deep in Toombs County, where she spent her formative years and built her life. Early on, she was blessed with two children, and her unwavering determination, positive attitude, and nurturing spirit made her a natural mother. As life unfolded, she found herself raising her children as a single mother, guiding them into adulthood as responsible and caring individuals.

Her caring and compassionate nature extended beyond her family into her professional life. Patricia devoted many years to the medical field, serving as a dedicated nursing assistant. She approached life with the same grace and resilience that can be heard in the lyrics of the Avett Brothers' song, "No Hard Feelings." Patricia's life was a testament to her boundless love, concern for others, and a heart filled with forgiveness.

Her outlook on life mirrored her strong Christian faith. Patricia was a devout Christian who sought to embody the teachings of Christ in every facet of her life. Even as declining health limited her ability to attend church in person, she remained steadfast in her faith, engaging in daily Bible studies to find solace and inspiration in God's word. Her heart of gold and unwavering faith left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing her. Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Rose Clark, and two brothers, Robert and James Miller.

Left to cherish a lifetime of memories are her beloved husband of 34 years, Billy Clark; a son, Mike Miller of Lyons; a step-daughter, Sheri Perry; son-in-law, Larry Clark; four grandchildren, including her first born grandson, Jonathan (Alaura) Clark and first born granddaughter, Lauren Mayes; six great-grandchildren; a brother, Cecil Ray Miller, Jr. of Rock Springs, FL; and four sisters, Margaret (Andrew) Morrison of Christmas, FL, Molly (Chesley) Akers of Uvalda, Sharon (Jerry) Turner of Deltona, FL, and Katherine Miller of Lyons.

The family will host a Celebration of Life at a date to be determined, however, her family is gathering at her home during their early mourning of her passing.

During Her treatments, Mike and Her spent many nights at The Comfort House, a charitable organization that provides low-cost lodging to help people who need medical care in Augusta.

In honor of Patricia’s memory, the family would be honored by memorial donations forwarded to, Comfort House Inc, 317 Telfair Street, Augusta, GA 30901 or made online at www.comforthouseofaugusta.org.
