Pearl (Lemire) Grant

Mrs. Pearl Grant, age 76, passed away Monday, February 14, 2022 at East Georgia Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Lowell, Massachusetts on October 15, 1945 to Edward and Evette Lemire and was reared there.  She and her husband made Glennville there home in 1986.  Before moving to Glennville she had worked at Lowell General Hospital as a billing specialist.  She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, reading and playing bingo.  Mrs. Pearl is of the Catholic Faith and is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Lemire.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mr. Richard Paul Grant, Sr. of Glennville; children, Richard (Melissa) Daley, Jr of Glennville, Kathy Paquette of Hutson, FL, Richard Paul Grant, Jr. of Ludowici, and Lisa (Bill) Christian of Glennville; siblings, Debbie (Ricco) Marques of NY, Linda Reid of NH, Rose (John) Sweet of FL, and Eddie Lemire of TX; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Saturday, February 19, 2022 from the Glennville Funeral Home.  Interment will be private.

Memorials may be given to Tattnall C.A.R.E.S.
