Randy Wayne Bragdon, age 71, passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, at the Community Hospice House in Vidalia. He was born in Metter on August 28, 1953, and had lived in Toombs County most of his life.

As a self-employed painter, Randy expressed his artistic vision through his brush, bringing color and life to every project he undertook. His dedication to his craft earned him a reputation as a skilled and reliable professional, admired by clients and colleagues alike.

Beyond his career, Randy was a man of many interests. He found joy in the game of billiards, where he spent countless hours honing his skills and enjoying the camaraderie of friends. His passion for martial arts revealed a discipline and focus that permeated many aspects of his life. A true tinkerer at heart, Randy often spent his weekends working on cars, demonstrating an innate understanding of mechanics and a love for hands-on work.

Randy was also a collector, who cherished the thrill of discovering unique artifacts. Among his many talents was his ability to create stunning arrowheads from stone carvings, an endeavor that showcased both his artistic flair and appreciation for history.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Bragdon and Barbara and Ray Harvey.

He is survived by his sons and daughters in law, Robby and Jessica Bragdon of Asheville, NC and Josh and Kharissa Bragdon of Vidalia; grandchildren, Cooper, Sawyer and Tristan Bragdon; and the mother of his children, Debbi Bragdon of Lyons.

Memorial funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Thursday, May 22, 2025, from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.
