Randy Alan Marshall, 61, of Register, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2024. Born on November 8, 1963, Randy was the youngest of six children and a beloved member of his community. Randy was known for his kind and giving heart, always ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He had a deep love for animals, especially his cherished dogs, whom he lovingly called his “babies.” His home was filled with joy and the lively spirit of his 11 dogs, as well as the clucking of the chickens he raised with care.

A creative soul, Randy excelled at woodworking, crafting beautiful decorative chairs, animals, and other unique creations that showcased his incredible talent. He found solace and joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was sitting outside by a fire he built or spending time with loved ones. Randy proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a faithful member of the Statesboro Church of Christ, where his faith was a guiding light in his life. Randy’s legacy of love, generosity, and craftsmanship will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sadie Marshall, and his brothers, Mark and Ronald Marshall.

Randy leaves behind his two beloved sons, Randy Jr. and Benjamin Marshall, who were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his devoted sisters, Dee Orr and Linda Simon, his brother Gary (Mary) Marshall, and several nieces and nephews who will forever hold his memory close. Additionally, Randy was blessed with the friendship and unwavering support of his dear friends Cal and Jackie, whose love and kindness meant the world to him, especially during the most challenging times.
