Obituary

Richard A. Lamb, age 63 of Glennville

passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2011

at Evans Memorial Hospital. He was a native

of Ashford, Alabama. Richard loved sports

that included golfing, fishing and NASCAR.

He attended The University of Alabama and

was an avid Alabama football fan. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran

who was stationed in Turkey, Germany, and the Philippines. He retired

as a Tech Sergeant with the 5 ^th Mob Unit at Robins Air Force Base in

Warner Robins, GA. Richard enjoyed playing and going on walks with

his grandchildren.

Survived by his wife of 41 years, Charlene Moss Lamb of Glennville; Son, Jason Lamb of

Warner Robins, GA.; Daughter and Son-in-Law,Jennifer and Jason Arnette of Ashford, AL.;

Grandchildren, Addison and Grayson Arnette.

Visitation and Funeral Services

Visitation will be held from 6pm to 8pm on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Heritage Memorial Funeral Home in Warner Robins. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11am Friday, August 12, 2011 at Bluff Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashford, AL. with the Rev. Mark Lilly officiating.

Preferred Memorials and Donations

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to The American Cancer Society or Wounded Warriors Project or to a charity of donors choice.
