Robert Lee Byrd, age 87 passed away Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at his residence under the care of Pruitt Health Hospice Savannah. Robert was a native of Muncie, Indiana and had lived the past 39 years in Savannah. He was preceded in death by his step-daughter, Ruthie Buford.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Mona Byrd; step-children, Esther Leigh (Myron Powell) Watson, Eric Dean (Carole Genund) Watson, John Nelson Watson; step-grandson, Michael Edward Gorman, Jr.
No services will be held.
Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Byrd family.
