Robert D. Middleton

Robert D. Middleton, age 53, passed away on Sunday, June 5, 2011 at Community Hospice in Vidalia with his loving family by his side.

Mr. Middleton was a native of Michigan where he spent most of his life. He moved to Tarrytown in January of 2011. He worked for Waste Management in Hernando County, FL. and received 4 S.P.I.R.I.T. awards as an equipment operator. He was a United States Marine Veteran in which he received a Letter of Appreciation and the Rifle Marksmanship Badge. He loved to build model cars and was an artist with his hands. Robert was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Middleton is survived by his wife of 28 years, Millicent Middleton of Tarrytown. One son, Douglas(Crystal) Savage Middleton. One daughter, Michelle Middleton of Spring Hill, Florida. One sister, Linda Felix of Michigan. Six grandchildren, Dawn, Haley, Marie, Donavin, Middleton, Alexis and Richie Crooks.

Funeral Services

Committal of Cremains will be at 10:00am on Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.
