Roger Clayton MeKiney

Roger C. MeKiney, age 76 passed away October 21, 2019, at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin, Georgia. Roger was born January 24, 1943, in Seattle, Washington to William and Edith MeKiney. He married June (Lampert) on January 23, 1965, in Newcastle, Wyoming. Roger retired from teaching in 2007 and he also retired from Home Depot in 2017. Roger was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.

Roger is survived by his wife of 54 years, June I. MeKiney; his three sons Roger (Julie) of Mitchell, NE, Ron of Corpus Christie, TX and Robert (Sherri) of Dublin, GA; 6 grandchildren including Kasie, Logan, Austin, Trevor, Tristyn, and Tori; 2 sisters, Sharon Haverly of Torrington, WY and Linda Matthews of Casper, WY.

The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Serenity Place Hospice in Dublin, Ga.

Services will be held at a later date.
