Ronald "Ron" Rush

Ronald "Ron" Rush, age 68, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Community Hospice in Vidalia.  He was born on August 3, 1956, in Salisbury, Maryland to Raymond and Dorothy Lehr Rush and had lived in the Jones Lake Community most of his life.  Ron had worked for many years in the maintenance department at the Claxton Poultry.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, fishing, hunting and mechanicing.  He really enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and great grandson.  Ron was of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sandi Rush of Jones Lake; his children, Brandy Rush (James) of Maine, Tiffany (Jasper) Myers of Delaware, Timothy Millirones of Reidsville, Johnnie Millirones of Arizona, and Nicole Strong of Reidsville; step mother, Gertie Rush; siblings, Richard (Toni) Rush of Delaware, Roberta Iverson of Maryland and Robin Rush of Maryland; 12 grandchildren; 1 great grandson, Marshall Louis Johnson

Honoring Ron's wishes there will be no funeral services.
