Sallie L. Jones

Sallie L. Jones, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Azelea Health and Rehabilitation in Metter.  The Screven County native spent the majority of her life in Candler County.  For many years, she was employed in the healthcare field and ultimately retired from Twin View Nursing Home as the activities director.  She was an avid gardener and loved her fur baby.  The final years of her life consisted of several health challenges including an extended battle with COVID-19.

Graveside funeral services are planned for Friday, March 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at The Lake Cemetery in Candler County.
