Sara Ann Pope

Ms. Sarah Pope departed this life on Sunday, May 19, 2024.  She was born on April 9, 1952 in Tattnall County to the Late Joe Henry and Corine Richardson.  At an early age Sarah joined Beulah Baptist Church in Mendes an attended Tattnall County Schools.  As an adult she got her GED.  Sarah was preceded in death by 1 son and 2 daughters and 3 sisters, Rosa Lee, Effie Mae Williams, and Betty Murchison.

She leaves to mourn her children, Barbara White and Tim Pope; siblings, Versia Mae Sharpe of Reidsville, Benjamin Richardson of Waycross, Joe (Brenda) Richardson of Glennville, Tony (Debra) Richardson, Sam Richardson, Virgil (Vickie) Richardson all of Reidsville; 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; host of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at noon with the funeral services to follow at 1:00pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial.
