Sarah Jane Whalen-Pilitowski, age 76 passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 at Bryan County Health and Rehabilitation. She was a native of Camden, New Jersey, living most of her life in Ludowici, GA. Sarah was a former taxi cab dispatcher in Camden, New Jersey who enjoyed playing bingo and loved spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert John Pilitowski; sister, Delores Maloney.

She is survived by her son, Walter Daniel Whalen of Ludowici; daughters, Wanda Mae (Jeff) Ashmen, Dawn Darlen both of Hinesville, GA. and Betty Jane Malick of Albany, ME; step-son, Robert Thomas (Lois) Whalen of Ludowici, GA; brother, Albert Harry Danfield of Boca Raton, FL; sisters, Edna Annise of Cherry Hill, NJ., Beatrice Brennen of CA., Betty Hope of Pennsauken, NJ; grandchildren, Jennifer Whalen, Pauline Newman, Velvet Ashmen, Janet Ashmen, James Rehrer, Steve Malick, Dawn Ashmen, Christina Perez, Jeffrey Ashmen, Timothy Ashmen, Kimberly Whalen; 24 great-grandchildren

Services will be held at a later date.

Low Country Cremation Services and Burial is serving the Pilitowski family.
