Shyla Marie Foster

Shyla Foster, born on November 26, 1999, in Lakeland, Florida, passed away surrounded by her loving family at Meadows Health in Vidalia on Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the tender age of 25. A beloved daughter, sister, and friend, Shyla touched the lives of many during her time with us, leaving behind a legacy of love and profound understanding.

Shyla graduated from Tattnall County High School in 2020, where her gentle spirit and kind presence were felt among peers and teachers alike. Though she was nonverbal, Shyla had a unique ability to communicate through her expressive eyes and warm facial expressions, allowing those who knew her to understand her thoughts and feelings deeply. This remarkable gift of expression fostered connections that transcended words, reminding all of the importance of empathy and love in our daily interactions.

An ardent lover of music, Shyla found joy in the melodies that surrounded her, often bringing smiles to the faces of her family and friends. Her laughter, infectious and pure, created moments of happiness that will be cherished forever. Shyla relished spending quality time with her family, creating memories that will remain etched in their hearts. Additionally, her love for cake brought sweetness into her life, reflecting her delightful and vibrant personality. She attended Pine Grove Baptist Church in Collins.

Shyla is survived by her parents, Adam and Suzanna Foster of Reidsville; her siblings, Sasha Foster and Xavier Foster both of Reidsville; grandparents, Ricky and Elizabeth Walker of Cobbtown; her uncle, Scott (Aubrey) Walker and many loving cousins.

A celebration of Life will be 11:00am on June 14, 2025 at Pine Grove Baptist Church in Collins.
