Thomas Norman Ebert

Thomas N. Ebert, age 56 of Glennville passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. Tom grew up in Carpentersville, Illinois and Boulder Junction, Wisconsin. He then lived in Florida for 5 years and living the past 20 years in Georgia. People will always remember him as a great guy who was willing to help anybody with anything. (If you needed to move, Tom was your guy!) He was an avid Star Wars fan and a great cook. Tom was always an animal lover. So much, that he made it a career. For many years, he transported animals for rescues, breeders and private parties. He will be greatly missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leslie Ebert and Maureen Ebert Bodmer; step-father, William Bodmer; sister, Mary Hutson; brother, William Bodmer, Jr; niece, Rachel Hutson and nephew, Tyler Behnke.

He is survived by his siblings, Sheila (Ken) Schuring, Paula (Bill) Held, Robert Ebert, Sue (Mel Tuvell) Ebert, Tammy (Skip) Bacon, Sharon (Tim) Dillon, Wendy (late Bill) Abermoske, Lisa Partipilo, Heather (Nick) Breezer; sister-in-law, Kristy Bodmer; also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, all who were very special to him along with a large extended family and friends.

Services will be held in Illinois at a later date.
