Todd Phillip Johnson, Jr. age 40, passed away on December 20, 2024, in Hinesville. He was born on April 1, 1984, in Fort Riley, Kansas and had lived in Ludowici most of his life.
Todd dedicated many years of his life to the construction industry, where he left an indelible mark through his hard work and commitment. His professional achievements were accompanied by a vibrant personal life, characterized by his love for family and connection to the outdoors.
A devoted father, Todd found immense joy in spending time with his children. Family trips were a hallmark of his personality; he took pride in creating lasting memories with them. Whether it was cooking in the kitchen or barbecuing outdoors, Todd showcased his culinary skills while fostering togetherness. Todd also loved his "close knit" friends. He enjoyed it when they were sitting by a bonfire, watching football or just when they were pranking each other.
An avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs, Todd’s enthusiasm for sports was matched only by his diverse collection of hats and knives. His passion extended beyond fandom; he loved hunting and fishing, embracing the tranquility of nature whenever he could. Todd attended A New Beginning Church in Ludowici.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Johnson of Ludowici; his children, Nevaeh, Makailah, Alexander, Ayden, Adele, and Ashton Johnson all of Ludowici; his parents, Todd and Bianka Subject of Ludowici; his brothers and sisters in law, Dennis and Amanda Subject and Michael and Mallory Subject; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial funeral service will be conducted at 3:00pm, Saturday, January 18, 2025 at New Beginning Church in Ludowici.
