William LeTourneau

On Tuesday, May 7, 2024, William “Bill” James LeTourneau, Sr.  passed away at the age of 74. Bill was born on October 1, 1949 in Detroit, MI. He graduated from Thurston High School in Redford Township, MI in 1967. Bill married his first wife and high school sweetheart Patricia Lynn (Kelley) Spinali shortly after beginning a career in the United States Navy.  Later Bill married his second wife, Carolyn (Madden) LeTourneau, where they spent many wonderful years in Mount Pleasant, SC. While in the Navy, Bill achieved the rank of Chief Petty Officer and served overseas on the USNS Comfort in Desert Storm. Mr. LeTourneau also earned a degree in health administration and worked as a diagnostic ultrasound technician for many years before retiring and eventually settling in Pooler, GA. 

Bill was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to many. Bill is preceded in death by his parents Alfred J. LeTourneau,Jr. and Laura (Jones) LeTourneau of Murrells Inlet, SC, and his sister Anne Marie Malone of Mount Pleasant, SC. Bill was the brother of Alfred J. LeTourneau,III and had two sons, William J. LeTourneau, Jr. (Shannon LeTourneau) of Harrodsburg, KY and Craig LeTourneau (Libby LeTourneau) of Rincon, GA. Bill had four grandchildren, Alyssa, Dylan, Lucas and Caleb who he adored, along with several nieces and nephews.
