William David Loadman,
Beloved brother of Rev. Clay Loadman, Pastor of Harmony Church, passed away suddenly at his home in Glenville on Sunday August 3, 2025. David was born November 3, 1956, in “old” Candler Hospital Savannah, Georgia. David was not known by many, but known & loved by his family. David retired from Savannah-Chatham County Public School System after 21years as a software & computer technician and moved to Glennville to be closer to his brother.
David, loved to read. He was a Veteran of the 101st Airborne Infantry and served in Alaska, Ft. Campbell, Kentucky and a part of the Multinational Force & Observers in Egypt & Israel. A certified Dive Master in NAUI & PADI and A Captain of a 65’ single mast sleuth dive boat, directing dive excursions from Miami through the Bahama Islands. David was an accomplished underwater photographer. He truly loved the water & Islands. He is preceded in death by his father, John William ‘Bill’ Loadman, and his mother, Joyce Williams Loadman.
Survived by his brother, Rev. Clay Loadman (Rhonda) of Glennville.
There will be no formal service. His final request was to be cremated and have his ashes spread in the ocean.
