Aleigha Anne Villalobos, 19 months old, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020. “Boot Boot” as her family lovingly referred to her; was a sweet soul full of energy and curiosity for the world around her. Often times she would come to her family demanding “up up” to get a lucky loved one to go see where her curiosity was leading. There were a few television shows that she adored, including Lilo and Stitch, Scooby-Doo, and Baby Shark. Although she liked those television shows, they could not hold a candle to her fascination with her puppy “Freckles”. Aleigha ran many miles in pursuit of Freckles, and Freckles ran many miles in pursuit of Aleigha when she was snacking on one of her favorites; either Cheetos or “pop pop” (popcorn). Of all the many curiosities and things she loved, none held her attention like her “Bubba”. When her baby brother was born just a few months ago, he captivated her like no one else could. Perhaps her time caring for her two baby dolls aided in fostering her kindness and love that she gave to her Bubba. Aleigha was a light in a dark world and in her brief time on this Earth blessed her family with rich memories that can never fade; she will never be forgotten. She is preceded in death by her Grandfather, Bill Flory and a Great Grandmother “Grams”, Sheryl Gerrald.
Left to cherish the life she so greatly enriched are her parents, Elizabeth Flory and Jesse Villalobos of Reidsville; a brother, Noah Aiden Flory; grandparents, “Nanny and Poppa” Wade and Cynthia Wilkerson of Reidsville and “Grandma and Grandpa”, Tino and Margarita Villalobos of Reidsville; Great grandparents, “Grandma and Granddaddy”, David and Leona Gerrald of Statesboro; numerous aunts, uncles, and other relatives also survive.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Glennville Funeral Home.
