Alvin J. Harden

Reidsville,

Mr. Alvin J. Harden age 69, passed away Sunday, October 17, 2021 at Community Hospice in Vidalia.  He was born in Claxton on October 13, 1952 to Alden and Trudie Harden and had lived in Reidsville all of his life.  He was a 1970 Reidsville High School Graduate and had served in the US Navy.  Alvin was a farmer most of his life and is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Gregory Harden.

He is survived by his siblings, Byron Harden of Reidsville and Gwen Nettleton of Lexington, KY; son, Christopher Ryle of Atlanta; granddaughters, Katie Ryle and Kristen Ryle; nieces, Alisa Maddox and Rebecca Nettleton.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 3:00pm on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at the Reidsville City Cemetery with Dr. Charles Jonas officiating.

Memorials may be given to Tattnall CARES.
