Mrs. Aurora Desoto, age 76, passed away Thursday April16, 2020 at her residence surrounded by her family and under the care of Bethany Hospice.  She was born June 28, 1943 in Bowling Green, Ohio to Mauricio and Juanita Balero.  She was reared in California and moved to Reidsville in 1990.  She was a homemaker and in her free time she enjoyed quilting.  Mrs. Desoto is of the Catholic Faith and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Francisco Emanuel Desoto; son, Thomas Desoto; and a grandson, Anthony Desoto.

She is survived by her children, Aurora Lewis of Columbus, GA, Enrigue Garza of Reidsville, Francisco Desoto of San Antonio, TX, Emily Mata of FL, Hope Desoto of FL, Mark Anthony Desoto of Reidsville, Joaquin Desoto of FL, Armando Desoto of FL, Maurico Desoto of FL, Valetino Desoto of FL and Omar Desoto of California; sister, Irene Reava of Texas, Brothers, Raynalvo and David Bosequezo both of Texas, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
