Reidsville,

Betty Carol Smith, age 79, passed away Monday, March 13, 2023, at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born March 8, 1944, in Collins to Flemming and Maybelle Crews Murray and had lived in Reidsville most of her life.  She was a homemaker that loved singing 50’s karaoke music, dancing, fishing, and tending to her flowers.  Mrs. Betty Carol was of the Baptist faith and is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cleveland “Buddy” Smith and several siblings.

She is survived by her children, Clayton (Jackie) Smith of Reidsville, Carol (Lorenzo) Flores of Reidsville and Charlotte (Jimmy) Jarrell of Collins; siblings, Julian (Brenda) Murray and Linda (Wilburn) Dooley all of Reidsville; longtime love, Feliciano Campos of Reidsville; her k9 companion, Sassy; 6 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm on Wednesday, March 15, 2023, from the Reidsville City Cemetery with Brothers Shannon Cranford and Santana Santana officiating.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the family of Mrs. Betty Carol Smith.
