Charlie Dale Hardin, age 61, passed away on May 21, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with lung cancer. After his school years, he went on to serve his country in the armed forces. He was in the US Navy for 13 years and saw many ports of call during his service. Although he saw many people in many lands, he returned home to marry his grade school girlfriend, Cheryl Kay Rhodes. After his service to his country, he began driving trucks full time for CT Transport. After 7 long years on the road, he decided he needed to be home more and closer to his family. Walmart Distribution gave him the work/homelife balance that he so needed. He finished his career with 13 years at Walmart. He loved his family with all his heart and they in turn, loved him back; he will be deeply missed. He is preceded in death by his parents, Eathern Hardin and Serena Couch and a son, Alex Dean Hardin.

Left to cherish precious memories of a life together are his loving wife, Cheryl Kay Rhodes; son, Sky-Cody Hardin; four daughters, Brandy Seaona Omega Hardin, Teimekka Nicole Alexzandria Hardin, Chaunsaray Dali-Lia Hardin, and Chelsea Danielle Badger; a brother, Jimmy Hardin; two sisters, Mary Louise Longworth and Theresa Tonni; two grandchildren, Vipher and Kitana Hickerson; numerous nieces and nephews and many friends made along life’s journey.

The family is planning a Celebration of Life that will be announced at a later date.

Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the Hardin family.
