Colon W. Galbreath, age 80, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at Memorial Health Meadows Hospital in Vidalia. He was born in Lyons on April 14, 1942, to Lloyd and Annie Della Rountree Galbreath and had lived in Toombs County most of his life. Mr. Colon was a truck driver for many years. His passions included cars and big rigs. He is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Geraldine Galbreath Helligan and Earnest Galbreath and a son in law, Scotty Vann.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Galbreath of Lyons; children, Michael (Jenny)Galbreath of Dublin, Christopher Galbreath of Jesup, Sandy (Randall) Green of Dublin, Gerald (Robyn) Galbreath of Dublin, Debra Vann of Dublin, and Margaret (Ronnie) Reid of Macon; stepson, Keith (Alesia) Campbell of Lyons; sister, Ida Maude Galbreath Viar of Savannah; several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00pm on Friday, August 5, 2022, at the funeral home with the funeral services to follow at 3:00pm from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Pastor Aaron Moncrief officiating.
Memorials may be given to Oak Park Church of God, 180 GA Highway 86 East, Lyons, GA 30436.
