Danny Autry

Danny Autry, age 57, passed away Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah.  He was born in Jacksonville, NC on December 31, 1963, to Clifton and Lou Ellen Squires Autry and had lived in Reidsville most of his life.  He was retired from the Youth Challenge Academy on Fort Stewart and was the owner and operator of ACS Lawncare.  Danny is a Gideon and currently serving as the Vice President of the Reidsville Camp.  He enjoyed camping, traveling, boat riding, and riding his motorcycle.  Danny was the happiest when he was with his family especially his grandchildren.  He was a faithful member of the Believer’s Church of Reidsville and is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Cindy Autry of Reidsville; children, Joey (Rachael) Hadley of Soperton, Danielle (Dennis) Shaff of Claxton, Krista (Tae) Stanley of Soperton, Christopher (Hannah) Autry of Mt. Vernon and Jeffrey (Victoria) Autry of Reidsville; brother, Wayne (Lori) Autry of Reidsville; 15 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the funeral home.  Funeral services will be conducted 11:00am on Friday, November 5, 2021 from the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial with Reverend Sherry Hill officiating.  Interment will follow in the Little Flock Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Dillon Blizzard, Aaron Andrews, Michael Bashlor, Tommy Williams, Rusty O’Neal and Johnathan Sapp.  Honorary pallbearers will be Aldrick Hill and Brett Warren.
