Donna Loraine (Stewart) Monroy

Donna L. Monroy, age 71 passed away Friday, March 20, 2020 at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital from complications following surgery.

Donna was born on July 3, 1948 in Helena to Allen Nelson & Vergie Pauline Stewart.  She lived most of her life in Milledgeville, until moving to Albany in 2008.  She attended school in Milledgeville graduating from Baldwin High School.  Donna obtained multiple certification degrees from Central Georgia Technical College.

Donna enjoyed spending time with family & friends.  She loved sharing her front porch with those she loved most.

She was preceded in death by both of her parents and a son, Jordan Monroy, who died in infancy.

She is survived by a daughter, Ann Marie (John) Chalker of Ailey, sons, Stewart (Valerie) Mixon, Albany and Paul Monroy, Cannon AFB, sisters, Ann Johnson, Miami, Fl. and Lynn Stewart, Milledgeville, 5 grandchildren and several dear friends.

Per her request & unforeseen circumstances, there will not be service at this time.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Monroy family.
