Obituary

Edward D Meadows, age 55, passed away on September 8th, 2020 at St Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah, Georgia.  Edward was born on May 9th, 1965 to Alahoma Jean Meadows-Beaver and William Gardner in North Madison, Ohio. He will be joining his first wife Mary (Squeak) Meadows, his mother Jean Beaver, his sister Tina Stallman, his grandmother Dorothy Meadows, and many other family members that he loved dearly. He is survived by his children Jodie Bryan and husband Ryan Steiner, Kelly Meadows, Kimberly Brand and husband Keith Brand, Scott Powell, Hannah Powell, and Ayla Meadows, his step father Michael Beaver and wife Susan Beaver, his brother Roy Paul Stallman and nieces and nephews Brannon, Michael, and Toika, his nephew and friend Derrick Zanolli and wife Krista Zanolli, his ex-wife Donna Sprayberry, his aunt and best friend Dove Keely and Uncle Gary Keely, and his grandchildren Trey, Marcus, Kaby, Keira, Zayden, Caylee, Trace, Audrey, Collier, Arya, and a grandson on the way. There are many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who were a huge part of Edwards life. He loved having such a large family and getting together with them made him the happiest.

Being a father and grandfather was the one job that Edward was the proudest of. He will be remembered by his children and grandchildren for his long talks, his acceptance, and most of all his unconditional love. There was never a time when he was not willing to help someone in need. His family will remember his kindness, his smile, and his lame dad jokes. He was a great cook and loved for people to enjoy his food. Edward loved football, music, chess, fishing, good food and a good book. His life was filled with good times with the ones he loved, and now we are left with those memories to carry with us.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Please contact Kimberly Brand at Kbrand2728@gmail.com for any information and updates on the service.
