Francis "Bart" Bartow Collins

Francis Bartow “Bart” Collins, age 85, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021, at Glenvue Health and Rehab in Glennville under the care of Regency Southern Care Hospice.  He was born in Savannah on October 19, 1935, to Frank and Eleanor Collins and had lived in West Palm Beach, Florida for many years before moving to Cobbtown in May.  Bart was a Scuba Diving Instructor and a dive shop owner for 30 years in Savannah and West Palm Beach, FL.  He also loved to read and is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Skipper Collins, Michael (Vincent Umscheid) Collins, Ken (Tracey) Collins and Kelly (Russ) Circle; brother, Bert Collins; grandchildren, Jacob Collins and Alaina (Kevin) Shields, Kristen Fernandez; great grandchild; Wailder Shields.

Funeral services will be private.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Collins family.
