Gladys Louise (Tootle) Collins

Mrs. Gladys Tootle Collins, age 90, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the Glenvue Nursing Home under the care of Spanish Oaks Hospice. She was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Tattnall County. Mrs. Gladys loved to read and paint with oil and water colors. She is a member of Stoney Hill Baptist Church and is preceded in death by her parents, Foy and Bernice Tootle; siblings, Carolyn Tootle Hatfield, Katherine Tootle Hughes, Vonice Tootle Price, and Terry Tootle.

She is survived by her siblings, Melba Tootle Smith, Foy Tootle, Jr. both of Reidsville, Robert Lee (Bennie) Tootle of Glennville, Earnest (Peggy) Tootle Sr. of Reidsville, Doy Tootle of Alamo and Doyle (Susan) Tootle of Reidsville, numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a viewing from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Tuesday March 17, 2020 at the funeral home. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Wednesday at Stoney Hill Freewill Baptist Church with the Reverend Jeffrey Barnard officiating.
