James Emmett Edenfield

James E. Edenfield, age 74 died at his home on May 2, 2020.  He was born in Lyons on January 24, 1946 to Keither Lee and Bernice Deloach Edenfield. He married Martha Joiner and they had 2 sons.  He was employed by the Georgia Department of Corrections retiring after 26 years of employment.  He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Preceded in death, his parents, wife, sister and brother.

He is survived by sons Keith Edenfield, Reidsville, Alan Edenfield, Lyons, granddaughter, Kristin (Joe) Alvarez, Statesboro, grandsons, Dakota Edenfield, Reidsville, Austin Edenfield, Millen, great granddaughters, Annabelle Edenfield, Adelina and Evelyn Alvarez, several nieces and nephews.

Due to his request, there will be no services for Mr. Edenfield.
