Warner Robins

Dr. Kimberly Ann Hill, Ph.D., joined her father, Reverend Walter W. White, in heaven on September 14th, 2022. She is survived by her mother, Helen A. White of Summersville, WV; her husband and best friend, Barry D. Hill of Warner Robins, GA; her son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Justin J. Hill, Ph.D. (Briana) of Cocoa, FL; and daughter, Ashley E. Hill of Warner Robins, GA. Kim is also survived by sisters, Susan E. White of Livonia, MI and Amy K. White of Asheville, NC; and brothers, Walter W. White (Allison) of Tuscaloosa, AL; Thomas W. White (Marilyn) of Wilmington, NC; and William W. White of Portland, OR; and many nieces, nephews, and their children – who all carry on her spirit. Kim was a loving involved grandmother, "Yaya", to her granddaughters, Bailey (Warner Robins, GA), Leah and Sophie (Cocoa, FL). A mentor and guide to her entire family, Kim was also a therapist and healer to all those conflicted with emotional torment. Born from the salt of the earth February 1st, 1956, Kim quickly became the same. One of her father’s favorite sermons was inspired by Carl Sandburg’s “Wilderness”. The two of them were indeed a guide to those to be keepers of their own zoo. Every person that knew Kim was markedly better because of her spirit, guidance, and energy. That energy still thrives within us all. Her impact to the world and our loss of her are equally incalculable. Kim’s two messages to us all were “Make it a great day.” and “It’s healthy to ask for help.” In the end she still expressed the importance and stated “There IS time.”, and “Be my voice.”. As the most altruistic person our family has known, a gift from her parents, please take her guiding statements as a call to action to make this world a better place – for yourself and others. She was a lover of family, journeys and the sea. In the end….her eyes “…they were the same color as the sea and were cheerful and undefeated.” (E. Hemmingway). Please join us in celebrating her next journey in the universe.
