Lorenzo Farmer was born on December 6, 1959 to the proud parents of Boyd and Cleoelo Farmer. He departed this life on August 30, 2021. Lorenzo was born in Laurinburg, North Carolina. At the age of 10, his mother moved the family to Fayetteville, North Carolina where he was raised and continued school in Cumberland County. He later moved to Glennville, Georgia where he met the love of his life Debra Murphy.  Lorenzo never met a stranger that he couldn’t and wouldn’t talk to. He loved to help people. No matter what it was he would do his best at doing whatever. He might have been in the way at times, but he surely would make sure it was done. Lorenzo, you are truly going to be missed by all of those that loved you and those you have come in contact with. Especially by your niece, Tracy. Lorenzo is preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings, Rufus “Luke”, Gladys “Sis” and Samuel “Sam”.

He is survived by his longtime companion, Debra Murphy of Glennville; four brothers, James (Doris), William “Bro”, Keith  all of Fayetteville, NC, Clarence (Sallie) of Greensboro, NC; three sisters, Nola “Bea”, Beulah “Dell” and Cleola “Red” all of Fayetteville, NC; special nephews and nieces, James, Tracy, Wanda, Toshae (Shallon), Weebee, Nicky, Vicky, TJ, Travon and Quenetta; special daughter and son, Danila Kennedy and Niles Rodgers. Also survived by a host of numerous family and friends.

Family will receive friends on Monday, September 6, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fayetteville, NC.
