Mandy Parry Foskey, age 43, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Orlando, Florida on October 18, 1977 and had lived in Glennville most of her life. She was a 1996 graduate of Tattnall County High School and had received an associate’s degree in Business from Ogeechee Technical College. Mandy was of the Baptist faith and had worked as a Correctional Officer at Rogers Correctional Institute, a CNA at Camilla Health in Claxton and currently was working at Cracker Barrel. Mandy loved to listen to all kinds of music, drawing, needle work, painting, going to the beach, and hunting. She also enjoyed watching football and drag racing.
Mandy is survived by her husband, Abe Foskey of Claxton; children, Jacob DeLoach of Glennville, Brantley DeLoach and Hannah DeLoach both of Claxton; her parents, Debbie and Gary Banks of Glennville and John Parry of Florida; step daughter, Ayla Foskey of Claxton; sisters and brothers in law, Amy and John Odum of Ludowici and Molly and Scott Prevett of Oklahoma; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends beginning at 6:00pm on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with Reverend Bryan Anderson officiating. The song service will be provided by Mrs. Connie Bowen. Interment will follow the Chapel services in Brewton Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Jonathon Tighe, Scott Prevett, Jamie Toler, John Williams, Nevan Dyess, and Scott Varnedoe.
