Obituary

Mark Jeffery Cowart, 49 of Reidsville, Georgia passed away September 1, 2021, at Candler County Hospital surrounded by his family due to complications from COVID-19. Mark was a life-long resident of Tattnall County and a 1992 Graduate of Reidsville High School. He was employed by Advanced Technology Services in Augusta. Mark or Buck as he was known by to his good friends was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and ride ATVs. He also loved to shoot pool and was a member of the Georgia Pool Dawgs. Mark also enjoyed playing the Destiny Online Video Game with his group of online friends. When he got to take a vacation, you could find Mark in the Smoky Mountains with his brother Eric and his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents Ander E. (Enoch) and Donna (Polly) Cowart of Reidsville; 2 brothers, Don (Nancy) Cowart of Cobbtown; Eric (Tracy) Cowart of Reidsville; 2 nieces, Ashley (Andrew) Pittman of Glennville; Ashton Cowart of Port Wentworth; His Great Niece Braelynn Pittman and Great Nephew Emerson Pittman both of Glennville. He is also survived by a host of other family and friends.

The family will be receiving visitors on Wednesday September 8, 2021 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Low Country Cremation and Burial in Reidsville with a Memorial Service immediately following at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Pine Grove Baptist Church Building Fund Post Office Box 735, Reidsville, Georgia 30453
