Myrtice Corine (Collins) Johnston

Mrs. Myrtice Collins Johnston, age 78, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Evans Memorial Hospital in Claxton.  She was born on September 18, 1942 in Glennville to Neadom and Bernease Rewis Collins and had lived in this area most of her life.  She was a homemaker and a member of the Glennville Church of God.  Mrs. Mytice loved reading and spending time with her family.  She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy Johnston; siblings, Nadine Richardson and Clyde Collins.

She is survived by her children, Suglenda Diamond of Newnan and Darlene Humphrey of Reidsville; siblings, John Haywood Collins of Ft. Worth, TX and and Floy (Rev. Varney) Aspinwall of Rincon; six grandchildren and several great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00pm on Friday, November 6, 2020 with the funeral services to follow at 2:00pm in the Chapel of Glennville Funeral Home with the Reverend Varney Aspinwall officiating.  Interment will follow in the Cedar Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
