Sonya Gay Hough

Mrs. Sonya Hough, age 66, passed away Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at her residence.  She was born June 8, 1955 in Vidalia and lovingly adopted by Vondholen and Juanita Martin Hough. She lived in Liberty County most of her life before moving to Glennville 5 years ago.  She was a barber for many years, loved to work in her flower gardens and watch wrestling.  She was also an animal lover and enjoyed riding horses.  Mrs. Sonya is preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Laura and Kenny Rahn of Glennville; birth daughter, Amy Stafford of Dahlonega; step son, Jeremy Bacon of Glennville; sister, Tamalynn Taylor of NC; and grandchildren, Gavin Grandstaff, Gunner Grandstaff, Brittany Rahn and Katelyn Rahn, all of Glennville; special caretaker, Shannon Kelley of Glennville.

Family will receive friends on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Funeral Home.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11:00am, Saturday, July 31, 2021at the Hinesville Cemetery with Pastor Roger Nelson officiating.
