Tommy Joyce, age 59, passed away peacefully from his life the night of November 12, 2020.  Born April 3, 1961 to the late Herman and Annie Will Joyce in Toombs County, Georgia.  He attended the school in the Tattnall County School System.  At an early age, he joined Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Reidsville.  He worked as a truck driver and mechanic for most of his adult life.  In his free time, his passion was fishing. Tommy was a kind person who loved helping people.  Above all though, he loved his wife, children, and grandchildren.  Tommy is preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves behind to mourn his loving wife of many years, Connie Joyce of Reidsville; four children, Chaunca Joyce, Toneka McNeal both of Claxton and Sumiko Kendrick and Chris Mincey both of Vidalia; mother and father in law, Leon and Penny Louise Smith; seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; three sisters, Tripholia (Michael) J. Sallie, Patricia (Eugene) Williams, and Elizabeth (John Henry) Taylor all of Lyons; five brothers, Herman (Frankie) Joyce Jr of Cedar Crossing, Ray (Cynthia) Joyce of Reidsville, Nathaniel (Cynthia) Joyce of Reidsville, Neil Joyce of Reidsville, and Leon (Erica) Joyce of Wiggins MS; two aunts, Ezell (R.C.) Sharpe of Lyons, JoAnn Mobley of Vidalia, and Eloise Hall of SC; three uncles, Umen “Bo Pete” Mobley of Lyons, James (Lutrell) Mobley of Statesboro, and Larry (Penny) Mobley of Collins; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.

Visitation is scheduled for Friday, November 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial in Reidsville.

Graveside funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 21, 2020 beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Robert’s Chapel Cemetery with Dr. Cynthia R. Joyce officiating.

The family respectfully request attendees to all services wear a face covering and maintain a safe social distance.

Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the Joyce family during this time of bereavement.
