Walker E. “Gene” Gaultney Sr., 58 of Jones Co, Georgia passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones. Gene was born in Bibb Co. (Macon), grew up in Old Clinton, and had lived in Jones Co his entire life. He graduated from Jones County High School and joined the US Air Force. Due to medical reasons, he was honorably discharged.  He held various jobs, but was most known for repairing appliances. He had customers that trusted only him with their appliance repairs. He was fair and honest and always explained everything to them. When his family needed him, he was always there and he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by his father, Walker F. “Fred” Gaultney.

He is survived by his wife, Kim; sons, Sonny & Aaron all of Jones Co. His precious granddaughter, Mauri his little doodle bug of Haddock; mother, Rose of Old Clinton; siblings, Kathy, David, Skip, Debbie and Brenda.  Many nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Services will be held at a later date.

Low Country Cremation and Burial is serving the Gaultney family.
