William Bailey "Roger-Mr. Bill" Rorer, a devoted patriot and retired Master Sergeant, passed away on Saturday, March 11, 2023, at the age of 79. He was born in Petersburg, VA, where he received his education and embarked on his remarkable journey of service to his country.

After graduating from school, he joined the United States Air Force, where he devoted himself to protecting and serving his nation. Later, he transferred to the 192nd Virginia Air National Guard and concluded his illustrious career in the 165th Georgia Air National Guard, accumulating a combined 36 years of service to his country. Throughout his career, he demonstrated remarkable dedication, discipline, and loyalty, and attained the rank of Master Sergeant.

William was preceded in death by his beloved father, mother, brother, and sister, leaving behind a legacy of selflessness, courage, and service.

Memorial services will be held graveside in Crewe, Virginia, at a later date, where his family, friends, and colleagues will pay their respects to this extraordinary individual who will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
